Hi Wayne: I'm Jon P. harrigan born 1948 in Pittsburgh PA. My Father John Aloysius was born 1913 in Pittsburgh. His father was Bartholomew Harrigan and had a brother named Timothy who was killed in Braddock PA in a Steel Mill Explosion around 1915.

Have never been able to trace our roots back to Irleand although have been told we're from County Cork. When my wife visted Ireland we couldn't find any Harrigans. Any thought? Some say we may have been O'Horgan and changed upon entry to US.

Hi Wayne, I am Kathleen Harrigan, born dec.31,1951, daughter of David J. Harrigan who was born in 1931. I have an uncle, Paul Harrigan, brothers Ternce and Steven. I have a deceased brother named Michael and two sisters, Patricia and Deborah. I grew up in Massachusetts. My father had a mistress and my mother Joyce took her life in her grief. I have not seen my father in over 15 years, an am wondering about the Harrigan strengths and or weaknesses. I have two sons who definitely show Harrigan traits good and bad. My fathers parents were Harrigans from Winchester, Ma. Joseph and Eva .Are there any connections? Thanks Kathy

I can't tell by the list of names but my married name is Harrigan and my husband has 8 brothers and 4 sisters, we have about 60 nieces and nephews with the Harrigan name. We are a large family on the southside of Chicago and almost everyone in the surrounding suburban phone book under the name harrigan is our relative. Would you like to know more about us or do you think we are in your list somewhere. Colleen
