This is a wonderful site, Wayne. Thank you for helping us in the search for information about my grandfather, Dan Harrigan. We have enjoyed looking at all the names.

I love the website--the new name is wonderful also. When we went over 3 years ago, we visited Barleycove in honor of our recently passed dog, Barley. We spent two days in West Cork, stayed in Schull, and loved it all. We didn't know at the time that we were in Harrigan territory--not until I found your website a couple years ago. Keep up the good work Wayne and let's keep that great name going!

It was great finding this site! I don't know my grandparents names, so can't go any furhter. Though I know my grandfather was Armenian "Harrigian" name change to "Harrigan". I don't know where to start looking.

I'm not a Harrigan, but I love the idea of your site - collecting information on everyone with your last name. Great job!

The Bing Crosby maternal history is surprisingly close to Gene Kelly's maternal history, as Gene's maternal Great-Grandparents and five children also sailed from nearby Bantry harbor in 1832 on a returning lumber ship (The Deely Brig). They first landed in Quebec, settling for a while in Vermont before finally settling in the Peterborough Ontario area. Two generations later, Gene’s father (James Patrick Joseph Kelly) settled in Pittsburgh PA.
